Challenge

Allowable Firearms:
Over the counter production hunting rifles as well as AR's are allowed. Trigger jobs, glass bedding and hand loads will be allowed. All Firearms must have factory action. No weight limit. All rifles up to .30 CAL allowed.

Classes:
Youth – 17 and under. 12 slots; one round.

Adult – 18 and over. 36 slots; three rounds of 12.

Awards: Awards issued for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.

Rules:
- Benches will be assigned on a first pay basis. First pay will get bench #1, etc.
- All shooters will have 20 minutes.
- Shooters will use rest and sandbags provided.
- Shooters will be shooting at a 100 yard range in a seated position.
- Eye and ear protection mandatory
- Youth entrants to be supervised at all times
- All entrants’ rifle action/bolts must remain open unless firing on bench
- During any cease fire all shooters will stop firing, unload, open and remove bolts from rifles. For auto rifles, action must be locked open. Rifles will be left on the bench and shooters will step behind the safety line.
- One shot per target. More than one shot in a single target will result in a disqualification for that target.

Scoring:
- Targets to be scored by Renard Alexander
- X counts will be used to break any tie. If score & X counts are the same; a sudden death shoot off will determine winners for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

*NEW THIS YEAR*
This year, there will be a Customs/Modified Group which will include all guns that do not fit in the above categories. This group will begin right after the Production Round and will be allowed to use their own set ups.

There will be a barbeque lunch served at the Shooter's Challenge that is free for shooters. All others can pay $5 per plate.
